The moduli space of l-adic local systems and application to geometric and classical Langlands theory

Abstract: In the talk we will define a new geometric object, the stack of local systems with restricted variation. We will discuss the appropriately modified version of the geometric Langlands conjecture and its relationship with the classical Langlands conjecture via the operation of categorical trace of Frobenius.
